FAQ
How does the Evomon type chart work?
Each Evomon has an element type. When attacking, if your type is strong against the defender's type, you deal 2× damage. If your type is weak to the defender's type, you deal ½× damage. Some types resist certain attacks (½×) or are completely immune (0×).
What are the 15 types in Evomon?
The 15 active types are Water, Fire, Grass, Flying, Bug, Normal, Rock, Poison, Ice, Ground, Psychic, Steel, Fighting, Dragon, and Electric. Dark and Light types exist but their interactions are currently unknown.
How should I use the type chart to build my team?
Use this chart to ensure your team has good type coverage. The best teams have Evomons whose attack types can hit a wide range of defenders for super-effective (green) damage, while minimizing shared weaknesses. Aim to cover every type with at least one strong counter on your team.
What does "resists" mean vs "immune"?
Resists means the attacker's type deals only ½× damage to the defender — the defender takes reduced damage but still gets hit. Immune means the defender takes 0× damage — the attack has no effect at all. Steel and Dragon types are notable for their many resistances.
How do dual-type Evomons work with the type chart?
Dual-type Evomons combine the strengths and weaknesses of both types. For example, a Water/Ground Evomon is immune to Electric (thanks to Ground) but still weak to Grass. Check both types on the chart to see the full matchup. Damage multipliers stack — a dual weakness means 4× damage!
